Fantastic Pool That Will Last For Several Summers

The Intex pool I purchased is actually 18' x 48". This is my second summer having the pool and it is great! The set-up and take down is so easy that I do it by myself. The ground in my backyard is not perfectly level, but this has not caused any problems. The pump is energy efficient and does a great job of keeping the pool water filtered. The pool cover that came with my pool really isn't as sturdy as I would have preferred it to be. If water gets on top of the pool cover and you try to pull the pool cover, it will rip very easily. I was able to fix the rip by purchasing a tube of vinyl adhesive/patch kit at the hardware store and used the adhesive to glue the edges of rip together again. This was a great pool for my 5-year-old nephew to learn to swim. He always felt comfortable because the pool wasn't too deep and he could touch the bottom without the water covering his face. He learned to swim the first summer we had the pool when he was only 4-years-old. Warning!!! If you have cats that you allow outside, you may want to purchase the hard side model. I have cats and now have at least two dozen patched holes in the inflatable ring around my pool. When they fall into the pool, they tend to claw their way back out. The tiny holes patch up easily without having to drain the pool or deflate the ring, but it's just an inconvenience. You really couldn't get any better than these Intex pools. I would recommend them to friends.

This pool is easy to set up and fun to use! I would recommend a solar cover as the pool took a long time to warm up with the cover it comes with but it is a great pool!

We love our pool although we only had it set up for a week when we realized the air ring wasn't holding air. We called Intex and they were great. We are getting a replacement pool any day now and we can't wait. It is a great way to cool off at the end of the day and we float around on our noodles. I'm sure the whole leaky ring thing was a fluke and when we get our new pool, we will be very satisfied.

This pool was very easy to set up. One must be carefull to level the ground it will set on. After that, the wife and I set up the pool within 30 minutes. It took a half day to fill and then the enjoyment began. It gets hot in the summer where I live and the pool was a life saver.

Not so much "easy set" part

Packaged arrived with everything advertised and for the price, this pool is a great value. It is very important to have as close to level platform as you can get, having the ground slightly off won't cause much harm, but if one particular side is running down hill enough, the pool lop-sides and you cant fill it all the way to the top. Pump filter seems adequate enough and doesn't seem to produce much noise. Now for the not so easy part, trying to get all the wrinkles out of the bottom is nearly impossible and the ring seems like it could get a puncture in it very easily, one thing that would have been nice to include would be a ph test kit or at least some sort of chemicals that will work for people on well water, keep in mind most well water as higher levels of iron and mixed with chlorine will cause the water to turn brown so yeah I have drained the pool about 4 times now :(. Overall with what is included and the price this is hard to beat just be sure its level and might wanna invest in a ph kit.
